Becky Blalock
Office Manager
Becky has been a cornerstone of this dental office for the last 30 years. Becky has spent time in every position of the dental office and no one is better at coordinating your care. Whether it is an insurance question, clinical question, or you just have an emergency and need to be squeezed into the schedule today- Becky is your advocate. She helps keep our office running smoothly and will be one of the first friendly faces you see at our practice.
Outside the office, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband, Erik, and her daughter, Kasi Jai.
Kim Durham
Front Office
Kim has been part of the dental field since 1992, beginning her career as a dental assistant before moving into the front office. Her years of experience have given her a deep understanding of patient care, and she especially enjoys building lasting relationships with the people she meets.
When she is not at the office, Kim and her husband enjoy camping, hiking, biking, and spending time with their eight grandchildren.
Jordan Pollard
Dental Assistant and Front Office
Jordan joined Patterson Family Smiles in 2021 and works in many different areas of the office. Patients may find her assisting the dentist, greeting them at the front desk, or helping explain the details of a treatment plan. Her versatility and warm personality make her an important part of the patient experience.
A native of Rabun County, Jordan currently lives in Habersham County with her husband, Dwight, and their two dogs. Outside the office, she enjoys horseback riding and spending time outdoors, whether on the trails or simply enjoying nature.
Della Figueroa
Dental Assistant
Della is a dedicated dental assistant who is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, welcomed, and cared for. She enjoys creating a positive, non-judgmental environment for every patient she works with and loves being part of a team that helps people feel more confident about their dental care.
Outside the office, Della stays busy with her husband, Aron, who serves at the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office, and their two energetic boys. She looks forward to welcoming patients to Patterson Family Smiles.
Christy Stancil
Dental Assistant
Christy is a dental assistant who enjoys caring for patients and supporting the clinical team at Patterson Family Smiles. Christy has a special talent of being able to relate to talk to anyone she encounters. She does an exceptional job of helping patients forget about their nerves as they engage in a comfortable conversation. Christy grew up in Habersham, and later moved to Rabun County after marrying her husband, Brian.
Christy and Brian have three children: Breanna, Alyssa, and Aaron. Outside the office, Christy enjoys being involved in her church, especially serving in the nursery.
Luz “Lucy” Castro Martinez
Dental Assistant
Lucy is a dental assistant and Rabun County resident who is originally from Guanajuato, Mexico. She enjoys helping patients feel welcome and is especially grateful for the opportunity to translate and assist anyone who needs extra support communicating during their visit. Lucy has the superpower of being fluent in both Spanish and English. If you are Spanish speaking, Lucy will help make you feel safe and understand everything we are doing.
Outside the office, Lucy enjoys baking and spending time with her family. She is married to Miguel Renteria, and they have a young son named Angel.
Lea Anne Sanders, RDH
Hygienist
Lea Anne has had the privilege of practicing dental hygiene for more than 40 years. She is passionate about providing individualized care and helping patients achieve their dental health goals in a comfortable, encouraging environment. Lea Anne has a gentle, warm personality that will put you at ease.
Outside the office, Lea Anne enjoys spending time with her forever husband, walking in the woods, reading, and enjoying life in general.
Joy Gaines, RDH
Hygienist
Joy has been a dental hygienist for more than 20 years and is dedicated to staying at the forefront of dental hygiene. Her bright, warm personality helps patients feel right at home, and she loves building relationships while educating people about their oral health.
Joy grew up around dentistry—her mother is a dental assistant—and she has always known she wanted to work in the dental field. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her energetic young daughter, Tallie.
Erin Mixson, RDH
Hygienist
Erin began her dental hygiene career in 2019 after graduating from Central Georgia Technical College in Macon, Georgia. She is passionate about helping patients understand the importance of their dental health and making sure they feel informed and cared for during each visit.
Erin currently lives in Habersham County with her husband, Bradley, and their two daughters, Adalyn and Kori. In their spare time, they enjoy camping and being outdoors.
Jill Clarke, RDH
Hygienist
Jill has been a dental hygienist for 30 years and has spent the last 20 years caring for patients in this office. A Clayton native, Jill loves teaching patients about their teeth and helping them understand how to keep their smiles healthy.
Patients often describe Jill as sweet and gentle—two wonderful qualities in a hygienist. Jill and her husband have two sons and a dog named Jax.
